Cameron left his hometown of Newcastle, Australia at the age of 22 to attend the Berklee College of Music, studying intensely with legendary musicians Mick Goodrick, David Tronzo, and Tim Miller. Whilst in Boston Cameron had the opportunity to perform and record with Mac Miller, Michael Christmas, John Pattitucci, Cousin Stizz, and his mentor, Mick Goodrick.
Initially wishing to move to New York in order to pursue a career in Jazz, the draw of country music brought Cameron to Nashville, where he has flourished beyond what he had thought.
